We (Do303) operate this website (Do303), using the Local Platform provided to us under a subscription agreement by DoStuff Media, LLC (DoStuff). It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

We Are Part of the DoStuff Network

Our website is powered by DoStuff's Local Platform. All of the information we are given through this website is necessarily shared with DoStuff, because DoStuff develops, hosts and operates the web application that powers this website. In turn, DoStuff shares this information with other websites in the DoStuff Network — that is, third parties that have subscribed to a software platform offered by DoStuff, including but not limited to the Local Platform, Event Calendar Partner Platform, and the Festival Platform. Sharing information among the websites in the DoStuff Network allows our website to be rich with content about bands, events, and other non-personally identifiable information.

Personally identifiable information given to us is shared with DoStuff as the developer, host and operator of the software that powers our site. Your personally identifiable information is not, however, shared with any other website in the DoStuff Network unless you choose to register or login at that particular website.

Every website in the DoStuff Network has adopted a privacy policy identical to this one, and is separately responsible for honoring it.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use our website so we can make appropriate improvements and so we can provide information about products and offerings from ourselves and from select third party partners that our visitors may be interested in. So that DoStuff, the sites in the DoStuff Network, and our select third party partners can improve and serve you better.

We also access Google’s DoubleClick cookie to collect anonymous demographic data (such as the age, gender, and interests) about each visitor to our site, using a feature that is currently called Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. We do not merge this non-personally-identifying information with, or connect it to, to any user accounts or any personally identifiable information we have collected through other means. We may use this demographic data to tailor information or advertising that we display to individual visitors, and we may disclose this demographic data in an aggregated form to third parties. Individuals can visit Google’s Ad Settings to opt out of sharing Google’s DoubleClick cookie with sites like ours, to modify the Google demographic information that is delivered to us and other sites, and to customize Google Display Network ads.

We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We do not use such information to identify our visitors, however, and do not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally-identifying information, as described below.

Aggregated Statistics

We may collect non-personally identifying information about the behavior of visitors to our website. For instance, we may monitor the most popular events on the website. We also may collect non-personally identifiable demographic information about visitors to our site, as described in the preceding section, "Website Visitors". That information is also shared with other sites in the DoStuff Network if you affirmatively choose to register or log into that specific site, as described above. Other than that, we disclose such information only to those of our employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services available at or through our website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. We primarily use our various blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. We will not use your personally identifiable information to send unrelated commercial email (spam), and will not authorize anyone else to do so.

Cookies

Ads

Ads appearing on our website may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Data Deletion Requests

As part of our continuing dedication to data security, customer privacy, and GDPR compliance, DoStuff Media, LLC offers all customers the opportunity to request data deletion for any data associated with their account. Under Article 17 of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to request erasure of personal data if the data is no longer needed or consent has been withdrawn.

Once data deletion is requested and account ownership is confirmed, the data is generally deleted within 30 calendar days of the initial request. Once data has been deleted it cannot be recovered.
