Denver Airport Testing DEN Reserve Program

If you've flown in the last few months then you know just how wild some of the security lines at Denver Airport have gotten. To help combat the long waits, Denver Airport is testing out a new program called DEN Reserve. With DEN Reserve, you can schedule your TSA screening time so you can skip the lines and experience contact-free expedited screening. We're definitely on board for this! E-Bike Rebates Are Back

Denver's e-bike rebate program returns Tuesday, January 31. The program can help save Denver residents $300 off the price of an e-bike, and up to $1,200 for residents who qualify for the income-qualified rebate. If you purchase an e-cargo bike, you can get an extra $200 on both rebates. The e-bike rebate program saw massive success last year, and this year's rebate schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, January 31
  • Tuesday, March 28
  • Tuesday, May 30
  • Tuesday, July 25
  • Tuesday, September 26
  • Tuesday, November 28

Denver's "Pay As You Throw" Policy Has Begun

Approved last summer, Denver's new "pay as you throw" trash policy has begun. The program aims to eliminate unnecessary waste in landfills and encourage residents to recycle and compost more by implementing trash fees. The fees are outlined below:

  • $9 per month -  Small 35-gallon trash cart — holds up to 3 kitchen trash bags per week
  • $13 per month - Medium 65-gallon trash cart — holds up to 5 kitchen trash bags per week
  • $21 per month - Large 95-gallon trash cart — holds up to 8 kitchen trash bags per week

Recycling and compost carts of any size are included for free with the fee. Residents that need financial assistance can apply for a rebate here. To learn more about the program, you can head to the city's page here.




Casa Bonita To Return In May

There's good news and then there's great news, and the announcement of Casa Bonita's Grand Reopening is definitely some great news! Owners Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Executive Chef and Culinary Partner Dana Rodriguez have revealed that the iconic Denver restaurant will be back open for business this May. We know the wait's going to be worth it.
